Reasons to Scrapbook: Tell the Story

in Scrapbooking

The Socks and the DressThere are many different reasons to scrapbook. Tell the story behind the photograph and you can enjoy it over and over again through the years. It’s called journaling; a bit like writing a diary. And it’s what makes a scrapbook different from a photo album.

Get the story down before it gets fuzzy and clouded by time. But what should I write? Two ideas to get you going are:

  • Imagine talking to a friend and telling them about the photo
  • Keep a notebook to hand so you can write things down as they come to mind. You can work out how to put the bits together when it’s time to do your scrapbook page.
