Another scrapbook layout idea with sketch 41 and this time the photo grid is a focal and not the whole page.
One thoughtful little fella – a penny for them … or is he bored?
I really liked the bright colors of these pencils – just the thing, I thought, for a little boy’s layout.
The scrapbook supplies are detailed over the page.
Take a closer look
Thanks to Anissa Thompson for the photos. Isn’t he a gorgeous little guy?
The papers are IsajoDesigns. There are two layers used, but with the compression it’s hard to see the paler background. The two are: a ruled writing paper and a splattered transparent layer. The striped paper, the two rows of string around the grid and the tag hanging from the string are also IsajoDesigns. The other items are photos extracted from their backgrounds.
The journaling reads:
“Are you thinking great thoughts, or just bored? If it’s boredom, then pick up the colored pencils & draw some pictures for Grandma – you know how she loves to get them from you.”
This was a fun, bright scrapbook layout idea made with our most recent sketch 41. Thanks for looking.
